Shadows and Bars

The world around us forms by the interplay of light and darkness. When a luminous source shines upon an object, it casts a dark shape. This event is known as casting shadows, and it's causes the striking contrast we see between forms in space. Bars, because of their form, often create elongated shadows that can be quite fascinating.

The position of the light source has a significant prison impact on the shape and size of the shapes formed. As the sun moves, bars will cast shadows that change dramatically.

The study of bars and shadows can be insightful, revealing hidden structures within our surroundings. It prompts us to observe the world around us.

Concrete Walls, Solid Dreams

The world beyond/past/outside the razor wire is a strange/unfamiliar/alien place. Many long/intensely/years of confinement can make it hard/difficult/challenging to adjust/adapt/acclimate to the shifting/dynamic/ever-changing tides of ordinary/everyday/normal life. Simple/Mundane/Everyday tasks like crossing/walking/traveling a street or interacting/communicating/talking to a stranger can feel overwhelming/daunting/intimidating. Still/However/Yet, there are ways/methods/strategies to rebuild/reintegrate/reconstruct your life and find/discover/locate peace/tranquility/contentment in the world beyond/past/outside the wire.

Reverberations in the Cell Block

The steel walls held the whispers of a hundred lives passed. Each jangle of a chain, every uneven footstep on the concrete floor, spoke a story. Stories of innocence, of despair, all blending in a symphony of suffering. Even in the silence, one could hear the presence of their stories.

What We Sacrifice
